IN Ministries
These ministries support Community life at Calvary. Friendships of love, care, and support are formed through fellowship and fun. Together we are formed as followers of Jesus Christ, through engaging in spiritual practices (Bible Study, Prayer, etc.).
The buttons under each ministry description will open a simple form for you to register your interest in finding out more - submit the form (for as many people in your household who are interested) and someone in leadership of that ministry will reach out to you.
Children’s Ministries
Calvary is blessed to have many children as part of our church family. These ministries seek to care for and support them and their families.
Youth Group
If Hosts greet people on the way in to worship, then the Welcome & Info Desk Team are here to connect and answer questions after worship. This is a brand new ministry we are hoping to launch soon.
College Ministry (The Forge)
Small group for those of college age: Bible study, prayer, fun & fellowship.
Lunch & Life
A free home-cooked meal every Tuesday lunchtime for Colorado School of Mines students. Operating out of the Great Hall and Kitchen at Calvary, there are two distinct Teams: Kitchen Team and Table Hosts Team.
Women’s Bible Study
Currently meeting on Monday mornings for Bible study, formation, prayer, and fellowship.
Calvary Women Connect
Various groups and activities that connect women together for friendship, support, and formation.
Men’s Fellowship Dinner
Once-a-month dinner for men to connect and enjoy food, fellowship, and formation.
Meal Ministry (M&M’s)
Providing meals for those who need some extra love and support - think “meal train”.
Eucharistic Ministers
Trained volunteers take consecrated bread and wine to share communion with those who are not able to attend worship in person.
Seniors Ministry
Caring for the more senior members of our church family through home visits, rides, lunches, etc.
Prayer Team
Praying for all kinds of needs and concerns that church members need prayer support for.
Hospitality Team
Hosting receptions for funerals, celebrations, and other special events.
Scholarship Fund
Through various small-scale fundraising programs, providing scholarships for undergraduate level studies for young people.
