Children
The vision for Children's Ministries at Calvary is for each child to develop a life-long, personal relationship with God. We want our children to know about Jesus and the Bible, but also to experience God in worship, in community, and in personal relationship. We maintain a safe, welcoming environment where children can explore, ask questions and be creative.
Nursery
Our nursery is supervised by two qualified child-care professionals. It is currently available on Sunday for newborns through children 3-1/2 years old, during the 9:30am and 11:15am services.
Calvary Kids
Christian fellowship and formation in Christ for ages 3 through 5th grade. Calvary Kids meets in the lower level of the Great Hall from 10:45am-11:45am each week, immediately following the 9:30 am Great Hall Serive. Classes are divided by grade into three classrooms: 1. Preschool, 2. Kindergarten,1st grade, and 2nd grade, and 3. 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. In our classrooms children don't just hear Bible stories, they experience them through age-appropriate play, storytelling, crafts, games and music. We do ask that you register your children each year. Register your children here.
Calvary Kids Bible Time
An age-focused gathering during the 9:30am Great Hall sermon. Kids 3 years old to 3rd grade join together for this parent-led Bible lesson and activity geared to the Sunday Bible readings.

Kids Camp
Join us this summer at True North Kids Camp, where young adventurers will embark on a journey of faith from July 14th to 18th, 9 am to 1 pm! We will be guiding kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North! Kids Camp is a partnership of Faith Lutheran, Calvary Church, and Hillside. Camp takes place at Faith Lutheran.
True North Kids Camp is open to children aged 4 through those entering 6th grade. We also welcome volunteers entering 7th grade or above to join our team.
Participants will enjoy engaging Bible-learning experiences that appeal to all their senses—seeing, hearing, touching, and even tasting! They'll also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on service projects and mission work.
Don't miss out on this unforgettable week of summer fun! Get ready to make memories and deepen your faith at True North Kids Camp!
