Calvary Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Calvary Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships for advanced education and training of young adult members of Calvary Church, Golden, and those sponsored by Calvary members.

Scholarships, if awarded, are to Calvary members between seventeen and twenty-two years old accepted into or attending higher education or technical training institutions, and who pledge to support the education of someone outside their own family. Calvary members may also advocate as a sponsor for those outside of Calvary Church or Calvary members outside the above age.

Scholarships may be applied for any and every year while you are studying.

Application Process:

  1. Submit a handwritten letter to introduce yourself and to request a scholarship. Be sure to supply your name and address.

  2. Include in the letter a promise to help someone else, in the future, with their education. Keep it short - for instance, “I promise to mentor a middle-schooler sometime in the future.”

  3. Include with the application a copy of something that links the applicant to the institution or program they will be attend (i.e. a copy of an acceptance letter) for the year of application.

Applications should be mailed to:

PO Box 620713

The completed application must be received no later than July 31 of the year being considered. Award decisions will be made no later than September 1 of the year being considered.
